Kaye McArthur, Programme Facilitator
A qualified nutrition and health coach who has a passion for real food that is seasonal and local. Together with her husband she owns and operates a market garden, and has over fourteen years experience in the fresh food industry. Kaye and her husband have three teenage children and she understands the pressures faced by families in today’s society. Her philosophy is variety and balance in life and food, and she will guide and encourage you through your journey to a healthy you.
Katrina Mcara, Programme Facilitator
Katrina's journey with health and fitness started early on with fueling herself for sport and then in later years to improve her own health. Including her eczema, which is now managed by wholefoods, instead of creams. Over the last 15 years, Katrina has worked in the fitness industry and as a secondary P.E. Teacher. As well as running her own fitness business, Katrina is a Mum to two young children. She also loves sport and has just completed her first half Ironman. For Katrina, the best parts of the Taste Success programmes are that they are simple to follow, with a variety of wholefoods, which are easy to prepare for busy families. Katrina believes that the Taste Success programmes are a great way to increase your wellbeing through sound nutrition. This is not a diet, but a lifestyle change. She is dedicated to helping you achieve your goals to be the best version of yourself.
Kristy Howard, Programme Facilitator
Kristy is a trained mental health professional with over 15 years experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds who believes strongly in the role good nutrition has on all aspects of health and wellbeing. She is currently working towards a Certificate in Nutritional Psychology through John F Kennedy University. Kristy loves how the Taste Success Programme makes it so easy for clients to develop knowledge and skills in nutrition and wholesome cooking in a supported environment. She is passionate about wholesome, clean eating and the impact this has on our relationship with ourselves, others and the environment. She has recently moved to Lawrence from Australia with her husband and two young daughters, and loves the wholesome way of life New Zealand brings. In between looking after her young family, you will find Kristy in her garden, tending to her veges and learning what she can and can’t grow in this somewhat cooler climate.
Nelunka Ormandy, Programme Facilitator
During her own Taste Success journey, Nelunka noticed so many wonderful changes in herself that she now has a strong desire to share her knowledge and experience with others. The programme made her feel so inspired by food and what it can do for your health and wellbeing. Nelunka absolutely loves the Taste Success programme as she found the meals so tasty and easy to make. She has tried many other 'diets' and programmes but none have been successful. With three young children, including one with special needs, Nelunka found maintaining the programme within their busy day-to-day life to be a success. Nelunka is a trained Occupational Therapist based in Oamaru. The focus in occupational therapy is on promoting independence in daily activities, and she works with clients to set goals and work towards them. With her passion for working with people and her skills from her work as an Occupational Therapist, Nelunka is the perfect fit for the Taste Success team.
Chelsea Hopewell, Programme Facilitator
With 5 years experience, Chelsea currently works as a Beauty Therapist at Spa St Clair and absolutely loves it. She has always been a huge believer of beauty from within and has always had a massive passion for health, fitness and nutrition. After hearing about the Taste Success Programme, she jumped at the chance to be involved and help her clients further with the amazing, delicious meal plans Taste Success have to offer.
Candice Perring, Programme Facilitator
Based in Dunedin, Candice has abundant experience from working as a Health Consultant for four years, following completion of a Bachelor of Physical Education. She has always been conscious of the roles that whole foods and movement play in maintaining healthy lifestyles, and that belief only strengthens with each and every success her clients achieve. Candice has improved her own fatigue, skin, and weight issues through creating healthy habits in her own life centred around whole foods and regular movement. Candice now has a passion for helping others become the healthiest versions of themselves. Candice loves to help people break bad old habits and to make new healthier ones through deliberate action, and the choice of nourishing the body with food and movement. Candice is both excited and proud to be offering the Taste Success programmes, as she believes they provide an excellent foundation for anyone starting their own amazing journey.
