Darryl Goad, Programme Facilitator
Darryl has an extensive background as an educator, coach, trainer, presenter, and facilitator. He studied Physical Education at Otago University followed by Teachers College, and after graduating taught at secondary school level for several years. As the health and fitness industry grew he transitioned into working in that sector full time. Along with working within clubs as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer, including coaching, training and mentoring his peers, he’s also worked at management level and travelled extensively, presenting at workshops and facilitating training modules for fitness professionals both within New Zealand and overseas. Having recently re-located to his home town of Nelson from a corporate position in Australia, he decided to follow his gut instincts and get back to his first love, working with people to help improve their lives.
Jeanine Sadd, Programme Facilitator
Based in the beautiful Marlborough/Wairau region, Jeanine's journey in Health has been almost a life's work. As a teenager, Jeanine saw family and whanau deal with several life-changing health issues which motivated her to research nutrition and dietary theories. It was when Jeanine and her daughter also experienced health issues stemming from allergies that she saw it was no longer a unique situation. Through her work at a local health food store, Jeanine saw many dealing with nutrition and lifestyle challenges and realised she was able to motivate and empower people through education, support and a listening ear. Her natural ability to advocate for others began at this time also. In 2015, Jeanine graduated as an Integrative Health Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and is also a Board member for Supporting Families Marlborough, a member of the Hauora/Health portfolio for Rangitane O Wairau and is a Support Worker in the Health and Disability sector. When Jeanine saw the Taste Success Programme advertised, she knew intuitively this would be of huge benefit to many as a way to support clients through their own health journey.
Lucy Stuthridge, Programme Facilitator
Based on a small organic farm just outside of sunny Motueka, Lucy is a qualified nutritionist with a passion for a real food approach to wellbeing. She believes that food is a form of medicine which can be used to reach optimal health, ability and performance. Trained through the University of Otago and currently working towards her Master’s in Human Nutrition, she has a wealth of nutritional knowledge and experience as a ‘healthy food’ chef, believing a lifestyle approach to eating well is essential for long term results. For this reason, Lucy loves the Taste Success programmes as they are all about eating nourishing foods that are easy and quick to prepare, which sets clients up to succeed in the long term.
