Alice McKay, Programme Facilitator

Alice has had a life-long passion for health and wellness. You will find her in the kitchen creating new recipes, strolling through farmers’ markets and aisles of health food stores or reading the latest in relation to health and wellness.

Originally from Dunedin, Alice graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Consumer and Applied Science, majoring in Consumer Food Science. She then ventured to London for two years, spending her time traveling Europe experiencing many cultures and cuisines.

Now based in Auckland, Alice is an experienced Senior Membership Coordinator with a demonstrated history of working in the health, wellness and fitness industry. More recently Alice has graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition becoming a Health Coach, supporting and enabling clients to make long lasting, sustainable lifestyle changes.

Alice believes in eating fresh, seasonal, locally grown whole foods to give your body the nourishment it needs to feel, think and move at your best. Cary McKechnie, Programme Facilitator

Cary is passionate about educating individuals to discover and understand the connection between food and their own health. Based in Auckland, she is currently studying towards a Diploma in Naturopathy. Being a mum to three amazing children she understands the pressure we face in balancing eating nutritious food in today’s time pressed society. Together with the Taste Success programme, she is supportive and encouraging in guiding you through your own journey towards finding a healthier you.

Claire Stephenson, Programme Facilitator

Claire is an Auckland-based nutritionist, currently finishing her postgraduate diploma in human nutrition. Her own journey with nutrition began as a junk food addicted teenager, a bad diagnosis regarding her gut health, a subsequent lifestyle overhaul and a resulting passion for the world of health and fitness. This journey has completely changed Claire's life and she made the decision to make her career giving others this same experience. Nothing makes her happier than seeing people make progress with their healthy eating and lifestyle habits and experiencing a better quality of life. Claire's approach to nutrition is to change habits and attitudes towards healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices, making it easier to succeed in eating well and achieving your personal goals. Through the Taste Success programme, she will guide and support you to improve your health so you can experience the vitality that comes with fuelling your body with healthy food choices.

Rea Jarai, Programme Facilitator

Rea is a Swiss-registered Fitness trainer, Massage therapist, Beauty therapist and Nutritionist. She has started her journey into wellness at a very young age, due to sport injuries during competitive horse riding and ice-skating. She ended up becoming a fitness instructor and developed her career in massage therapy and beauty treatments to enhance the physical wellbeing of her clients. Her passion for nature brought her to New Zealand, where she is currently completing her studies in holistic nutrition at the Health Sciences Academy. Rea also works for Forme Spa as a beauty and massage therapist and at Cityfitness teaching group fitness classes around Auckland. Rea believes that in order to thrive in life, one must be balanced physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and be connected with nature. Healthy eating is, without any doubt, a big part of it and Rea particularly enjoys taking care of women with weight issues and hormonal imbalances.

Kamilla Harker, Programme Facilitator

Originally from a farm in Hawke's Bay and now based in Auckland, Kamilla is a Health Coach certified by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and she has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Otago University. She is also a trained Stott Pilates Mat and Total Barre Instructor. Working in the fast-paced corporate world, Kamilla gets how hard it can be to incorporate health, nutrition and lifestyle habits into your time poor daily routine. Not only can time be an issue, but with all the conflicting information out there, knowing what you should eat can be confusing and hard. Yo-yo dieting, emotional eating, and calorie counting can all lead to so much guilt and stress, but it doesn't have to be like this. Together with the Taste Success programme, Kamilla can help make healthy eating less confusing and stressful for you, and most importantly, she can guide and support you to make these changes long-lasting and sustainable so you can live a happier and healthier life.
