Alice McKay, Programme Facilitator
Alice has had a life-long passion for health and wellness. You will find her in the kitchen creating new recipes, strolling through farmers’ markets and aisles of health food stores or reading the latest in relation to health and wellness.
Originally from Dunedin, Alice graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Consumer and Applied Science, majoring in Consumer Food Science. She then ventured to London for two years, spending her time traveling Europe experiencing many cultures and cuisines.
Now based in Auckland, Alice is an experienced Senior Membership Coordinator with a demonstrated history of working in the health, wellness and fitness industry. More recently Alice has graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition becoming a Health Coach, supporting and enabling clients to make long lasting, sustainable lifestyle changes.
Alice believes in eating fresh, seasonal, locally grown whole foods to give your body the nourishment it needs to feel, think and move at your best. Rea Jarai, Programme Facilitator
Rea is a Swiss-registered Fitness trainer, Massage therapist, Beauty therapist and Nutritionist. She has started her journey into wellness at a very young age, due to sport injuries during competitive horse riding and ice-skating. She ended up becoming a fitness instructor and developed her career in massage therapy and beauty treatments to enhance the physical wellbeing of her clients. Her passion for nature brought her to New Zealand, where she has studied full time at Wellpark and completed her studies in holistic nutrition at the Health Sciences Academy. Rea also works for Forme Spa as a beauty and massage therapist and at Cityfitness teaching group fitness classes around Auckland. Rea believes that in order to thrive in life, one must be balanced physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and be connected with nature. Healthy eating is, without any doubt, a big part of it and Rea particularly enjoys taking care of women with weight issues and hormonal imbalances.
Kamilla Harker, Programme Facilitator
Originally from a farm in Hawke's Bay and now based in Auckland, Kamilla is a Health Coach certified by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and she has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Otago University. She is also a trained Stott Pilates Mat and Total Barre Instructor. Working in the fast-paced corporate world, Kamilla gets how hard it can be to incorporate health, nutrition and lifestyle habits into your time poor daily routine. Not only can time be an issue, but with all the conflicting information out there, knowing what you should eat can be confusing and hard. Yo-yo dieting, emotional eating, and calorie counting can all lead to so much guilt and stress, but it doesn't have to be like this. Together with the Taste Success programme, Kamilla can help make healthy eating less confusing and stressful for you, and most importantly, she can guide and support you to make these changes long-lasting and sustainable so you can live a happier and healthier life.
Michelle Bishop, Programme Facilitator
Based on the sunny North Shore of Auckland, Michelle is a Health & Lifestyle Coach and member of the International Coach Federation. Her own personal health challenges and food allergies have been the catalyst for Michelle’s passionate interest in the fundamentals of optimal health and nutrition, culminating in her training with the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy. She believes in a wholefoods person-centred approach to achieving greater health, joy and vitality through mindful lifestyle choices and creating healthy habits. With many years personal experience of working as a professional in the corporate world, Michelle also understands the challenges of juggling the many priorities of life and work that often leave us feeling overwhelmed and short on time for ourselves. Michelle loves the simple, nutritious Taste Success recipes with the easy ‘no diet’ approach and she has a passion for supporting you to thrive on your unique Taste Success journey to greater health and wellbeing.
Amelia Pells, Programme Facilitator
Amelia began her career in the wellness industry 15 years ago as a massage & beauty therapist, travelling across Europe and Australasia working in health spas and resorts. Passionate about helping people achieve optimum health, Amelia arrived back to New Zealand to carry out further study of which she completed a Bachelor of Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine. Amelia has experience in the areas of gut health, stress related disorders, hormonal conditions, weight and fertility. Amelia has found Taste Success to be a perfect fit for her as she believes that nutrition forms the basis of all treatment plans, it is the food on your plate that develops into the building blocks of you. Food can either rob or enhance your energy, emotional state and overall well-being. Amelia is excited to work alongside her clients as they discover new ways of eating and giving them full support on their journey.
Annelies Grimshaw, Programme Facilitator
Based in the Wonderful West Auckland, Annelies is a qualified Nutritionist and Personal Trainer certified by Massey University in Auckland. She has always had a passion for nutrition and fitness starting at a very young age and nothing gives her more satisfaction then helping other people achieve their wellbeing goals. Working in Australia the past six years as an Active Life Coach and Public Health Nutritionist has taught Annelies how important a nutrient-rich diet with lots of whole foods and minimally processed ingredients is for maintaining a healthy balanced life. Annelies missed Aotearoa and has made the move back here wanting to spread her enthusiasm and passion for Nutrition and living a healthy life! She believes the Taste Success program is a realistic and maintainable lifestyle plan to obtain optimal nutrition value for energy, emotional state, and overall wellbeing. She is so excited to help guide you through this new journey and will be there every step of the way so that you can live a happier and healthier life.
