Taste Success Smoothies

At the Women’s Expo, our green smoothies were a hit!  They may look daunting, but adding in a handful of spinach, kale, or silverbeet to a smoothie really increases it’s nutrient content.  All of these recipes are amazing on the tastebuds as well!  As you get used to having greens in your smoothies, try increasing the ratio of vegetables to fruit, and swap the juice for water, coconut water, or even almond milk.  Experiment, and enjoy!

Taste Success Smoothie:

  • 2 cups fresh spinach/kale
  • 1 cup Apple juice
  • ½ Avocado
  • 1 banana

Pina Colada Smoothie:

  • 2      cups spinach, fresh
  • ½      cup coconut cream
  • 2      cups pineapple and juice
  • 1      avocado
  • Water, if needed

Feijoa Delight Smoothie:

  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 3 feijoas
  • 1 banana
